so I’m back
I haven’t done any blogging in a while because of music, which is taking off by the way. I’ve been writing some lyrics, progressions and solos and it’s turning out very nicely. I’ve been looking at some five-string basses as well. Playing bass is fun.
I had some of my friends over today and we played Scrabble, Guitar Hero, 20Q and Apples to Apples and we had pizza and went outside and looked at stars. It was fun.
Oh crap. I have to finish reading Lord Of The Flies and write my paper by Monday. I guess I better go do that but I really don’t want to.
back in business

•July 7, 2007 • Leave a CommentSo, I’m seriously getting angry right now, it’s a stupid reason, but lots of things are really getting on my nerves right now and just making me angry. Like just simple annoyances combined with constant thoughts of the past turns me into a complete wreck. Like I had to wake up at 7:30 this morning, and it didn’t get to sleep until 4am last night and I have no clue how I am going to start waking up at 6am when school starts. I’m angry that I’m letting the summer go by too fast and not remembering anything. I’m filling all my free time with pointless activities and self-pity and basically throwing away everything. And my stomach hurts really bad and I have a migraine.
Huge Update
•July 5, 2007 • Leave a CommentSo, I haven’t really posted in a long time, partially due to Facebook, partially to camp and partially to my wonderful, refurbished PS2. Well, let’s see. A few weeks ago I bought a new acoustic guitar by Mitchell and I named him Nikolai. I need to get around to changing the strings. I’m still using the strings that came with it and we all know the strings that come on the guitar have absolutely horrid action. The week before my birthday week I went to camp and I had an awesome cabin. I was the oldest but it was cool. When I got back I bought some CDs which include: Icky Thump by the White Stripes, Very Proud of Ya, Answer That and Stay Fashionable and Sing The Sorrow by AFI, Wonderland by Forgive Durden and Knuckles Up by Flatfoot56. All of which are amazing. I would recommend Icky Thump to everyone for it’s sheer amazingosity. Basically everything you would expect from the White Stripes and more. It’s the best CD I have bought in a long time. After my birthday week I went to camp again for Senior Blast. It was fun, but I didn’t really get along well with my cabin. Too many clashing personalities. After all, who /is/ compatible with an INFP anyway? When I got back on Sunday, Sing The Sorrow and Knuckles Up had come in the mail. I got called emo a lot in the past few weeks by virtually everyone, and as much as I tell myself that I’m not like that anymore I can’t seem to get rid of the past. Oh well, I guess I’m doomed to flashbacks for the rest of my life. Anyway, I’ve been really bored this week, I picked up The Sims 2 at the store and I continued drawing like a crazed maniac to pass the time. If I ever get a scanner I might upload some of my drawings, but for now your stuck with my artsy photos :] I’m going to Gold Rush next week, which should be super awesome. We go to Six Flags and White Water and we do missions and stuff. It’s going to be great. But it kinda sucks that it’s probably my first and last time at GR. If I get a job at camp next year I won’t be going, and if I get hired I plan to work there for at least the rest of high school. My friend called me today that I haven’t talked to for a very long time and that was kind of exciting, well I mean it made me happy. I’m going back to camp for the last time this summer after Gold Rush, which is also kind of saddening because it is probably my last time as a camper. I mean, if I don’t get the job I might not go to Senior Blast next year, I don’t know. I just really hope I get hired. After that I have a week of nothingness and then I go to the beach for a week with my cousin. Then I have another week of nothingness and a wedding to go to. And then school starts, but don’t remind me.

•April 24, 2007 • Leave a CommentSo tonight is the My Chemical Romance, Muse and Rise Against concert and Im not going because I couldnt get the tickets in time. I think I mentioned Softer To Me and Failure To Excommunicate in the last posts. Frickin amazing songs by Relient K. Listen to them. They will change your life. As will House of Wolves by My Chemical Romance but in a different way. I am going to see MxPx on the 19th, Chris Cornell on June 2 and Rise Against with Silverstein and Comeback Kid on my birthday, June 20th which should be amazing. Also, I found out, in high school I can take a guitar elective and have online PE which I think is really awesome. I got an autograph from Alec Ounsworth of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and I will upload the picture soon enough but not now because it is really huge and large and stuff. I really need to stop being redundant by repeating myself.
hmm
•April 23, 2007 • Leave a CommentI forgot to mention that I bought a guitar a month or so ago. I bought an Epiphone Special II. It’s black on black and it’s pretty cool cause usually people play strats and stuff on stage so it’s all unique and stuff. Forgot that I can play the intro to Pressing On flawlessly now, which is weird cause I ain’t so great with speed. Anyway, I’m going to this thing in a few minutes… and I have to read Hamlet *snore* I found out if I google my username about 200 of the entries are mine. Neat, eh? Canadian eh? Como estas, eh? I have no idea what that means. I remember it from first grade Spanish. Hope I didn’t cuss yall out, but why would we learn Spanish cuss words in first grade?
Wh00tness
•April 23, 2007 • Leave a CommentDude, seriously, if you like guitar get The Power Tab Editor and get files from ultimate-guitar.com they are awesome. I’ve been playing BYOB, Pressing On, Message In A Bottle, Pretty Fly For A White Guy, Anna Molly and some other things.
Also, I make shirts one that says “Welcome to the OOL, notice how there’s no P in it? Let’s keep it that way.” and a Millencolin shirt. It is pretty sexy, I must say.
u suck
•April 23, 2007 • 1 CommentJZIZZORS, you are the poseur emo kid. FYI, I jump around at shows, emo is music, and I was pointing out the fallacy of when people call themselves emo.
Emo Kidz
•March 18, 2007 • Leave a CommentYOU ARE NOT EMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hate to break it to you, but you are not music. You will never be music and I’m particularly glad you’re not. Elmo is more emo than you. My Chemical Romance is emo, because they play music, but you are not. Mmm… Chips Ahoy…. anyhoo… Oh yeah, I probably am contradicting my last post but that doesn’t really matter that much anyway… GAH… I hate Macs the letters on the keys are really big and it annoys the crap out of me!!!!! Emus are hot. Hotter than “emo kids”. Emu. Oh yeah, if my website ever goes back up, I will make emo emu icons. Yay emo emus! Haha I’m such a dork. But hey that’s what nerds are for. Website:
Moo
•March 18, 2007 • 1 CommentBleh. Why do they always make you put a title? My posts are so random, that a title would not work. Hm… well to start this off… if you go to azchords.com and there are tabs for Sweet Child O Mine and the complete one is perfect. BTW, I started playing that today. And the first part of War Pigs is fun :] SQWEE!
Anyway, I got this pimpin hoodie at the mall last week and it’s all soft and stuff check it out. Also, there is these pimpin emo shirts, if you are into that sort of thing, which I am you can check out Fulbleed here and here. The designs are amazing and they are affordable (hey, I didn’t say cheap.)
Also you can head over to music.download.com for some free undiscovered music and head to mp3search.ru for cheap (15 cent) all music.
I saw this awesome amp in the guitar store today and it’s like this Fender amp and it has songs and a drum machine so you can jam and it won’t sound really weird. I think I should buy a guitar. I was thinking a Telecaster or an Imperial. I would feel more like Pantera with an Imperial but whatever, I only know one of their songs. But, I would really feel and maybe start acting like Slash with a Telecaster… hmm…
Yay, no school on Monday *happy birthday song* wtc?? Anyhoo, cows are soooooo cool. I am thinking about screenprinting shirts that say moo. Those would be sexy, agreed?
Oh, AMW just came on, bye.
